Aprilia sr50 Custom paint work and tuned ! PX/TRADE ? in Barrow, Rutland for sale
Here is my much loved 2000 Aprilia sr50 ! had tons of work done on it the past year by previous owner. Has been tuned and resprayed i have had 70+ out of it downhill on the coast road near me but dial only goes up to 70mph so couldnt tell how fast it was but its a rapid little 50 !. This is learner legal at 16 is my first ped and i have loved every second of it but needing to sell as i am needing something geared as i am to used to having gears on all my bikes. Tax and Mot till late this year. Notice in the picture that there is a scuff on the side and theres a few little nicks around the bike but by all means nothing serious. Also the exhaust is showing signs of rust but is common in technigas ( note that this is not the cheap boz job most 16 year old's get on there peds) Engine has been tuned nicely cant state what has been done but its fast ! engine rebuild less than a year ago... Will do 60-65 on a flat all day and has always been run on Racing 2 stroke approx £12 a litre and it does last ! The horn does not work but i think a wire has just come loose ! If you dont let it warm up in the morning after a cold night the engine will cut out when you twist the throttle you need to give is approx 2 min's to warm up, because if you dont it wil take a while to kick in but once warmed up will be a dream ! This bike as it stands as tuned had it valued at £900 if i had new exhaust and paint touched up would be looking at about £1200 as a local motorbike dealer has said so grab yourself a Treat ! Before sale i will have it checked over to make sure its all sound and it wont be breaking on you for a good while ! Its on 14241 miles atm but will go up as im still using it on a daily basis. I have V5 registered in my name and 2 past previous MOT's ! By no means am i in a rush to sell so i will not drop the price by a dramatic % but i am open to offers I will trade for a Geared 50 maybe another ped depending what spec etc... enduro or something like an rs but no DNA's there god awfull bikes i may beable to put cash on top aswell depending the value of your bike Please email or phone for more details !, Connor
